It is just a poll made by a rock and metal magazine here, and people have to vote for best guitarist in the world. This kind of polls are made in many countries, and in the end we'll see who won. I voted Slash. No matter if he is an asshole, for me he deffinitely is the greatest guitarist I have ever seen. It's annoying because Kirk Hammeth from Metallica has far more votes, when honestly speaking, what makes him the greatest guitarist ever? The fact he is from Metallica? Metallica fans are so stuck to their band. Well, it's something to appreciate, I wish Guns N' Roses fans would be so supportive with the band too. So, if you think Slash should win, give him 5 stars ( all you have to do is to click on the stars under the photo) You can vote daily. www.metalhead.ro/concurs/Slash__ex_Guns_N_Roses_-gid109515-it1205977-cid178-l1.html

yeah, I'll definitelly vote Slash as he is for sure the best guitarist. I could have sworn that people would vote anything of Metallica because it's metallica so.. meh Slash was an asshole for the lies he said about Axl.. but his talent won't ever be equalized here is the list of the guitarists to be voted. you click on who you want and then give him 5 stars, so the maximum of votes www.metalhead.ro/concurs/Cel_mai_bun_chitarist_din_toate_timpurile_-t1-gid109515-l1-p1.htmland the chart until now is 1. Jimi Hendrix 1043 votes 2. Kirk Hammett 1036 votes 3. Angus Young 914 votes 4. Slash 768 votes5. David Gilmour 768 votes I put just the ones who are fighting close scores

Oh cool when ill give them both my vote, and Eusis I understand what you mean, but I do take into account the curve they had on growth not only their natural talent, but what they both did with what they had, And well Mr Slash still has more to give (i hope)

How do you vote? I think Slash is a better guitarrist than Jimi, but Jimmi was a pioneer so I'll vote for both of them if I can. Too bad Buckethead is not listed, but oh well

Too bad Buckethead is not listed, but oh well Monique, just click on the 5 stars under the photo. I appreciate Jimi, he is a legend, but I just can't chose another one than Slash, because in my vision he is the fucking greatest guitarist I could have ever imagined. I have never seen someone doing such things with a guitar, he is like he born playing it.

Yeah I think in the end it all comes down to personal choise. Therefore there cannot be "the best guitarrist" because they're all different. My personal favorite is Brian May, I love him with all my heart and he is on the list yay! Thanks Sharon

then vote him, Monique And yes, there can't be just one best guitarist of all times, because there are a few greatest ones, legends, but then it depends on what impact he had/has on you

I am very conscious of the value of these guitarists who were and who are like a backbone in the history of guitars and I know that each one of them had a different impact on each one of us, so, starting from here we say "Slash, or Jimi or Brian May or ect. is the best guitarist of all this goddamn world". Because each one had an impact on us. So, Slash is for me the best guitarist and he will never be equalized, in my view
