Metallica would kick serious ass with GnR but that wouldn't be the case of opening, but co-headlining instead.
Opening, I think Baz is the best option. Besides, having Sebastian around Axl is a guarantee that insane stuff is going to happen. Baz is one hell of a good influence for Axl!

I personally when I go to a concert of a band that I love so much, I don't have patience to see any other band opening; maybe if that band is one I like very much, but usually opening acts are most of the time wrong chosen. Guns N' Roses don't need opening acts; maybe the idea of special guests would be good

the fact is that opening acts are like a warm up things. but we all know that for Gn'R no one needs a warm up band. Gn'R are hell on stage goddamnit

Yes, there are cases like this sometimes. I personally have no good times to recall with opening acts. Last weekend I went to a concert of a band I like very much and they had an opening act, a band from Australia, and they played 45 minutes, and in my whole life I haven’t heard something more idiot, it made my blood boil, it’s awful to have such experiences with opening acts.
I don’t know if there had to be an opening act for Guns N’ Roses, it would be only and only Iris- the biggest band of hard rock that is from Romania, my country, that formed in 1977. I absolutely love them, they are the symbol of our country. They are not an opening act for anyone, but because the biggest (the one and only) hard rock band of this magnitude, they sang before Rolling Stones when they came to Romania too last year.
