 8-)oh I'd like that. but not the present Nightwish which is simply crap I love what Nightwish were before they broke out but even so Nightwish are usually not opening for other bands.

I love the old Nightwish. Unfortunately this is another pure proof that changing the lead singer destroys a band completely as style.

yes, I respect their decision and Tarja after all is shining even more as a solo artist than if she had stayed with Nightwish. I adore Tarja's style since she sings with her band   I and Tarja (my sister) just saw her in a concert one week ago here in Bucharest, it was unforgettable, one of the most amazing concert I've ever been to |

of Nightwish or Tarja? Here you can see Tarja (yesterday I think). I simply love her style. She's a goddess, and if you love metal with soprano lead singer you just can't not see she's the queen (With Within Temptation, another one of the most favourite bands of mine- Sharon den Adel has the voice of a nightingale, she's a goddess ). This works if you like metal or rock female- soprano leading bands. But regarding to the bands I would like to see touring with Guns N' Roses, of course I would love to see Within Temptation again and Tarja (again) but their style wouldn't fit Guns. 2 different styles, 2 different bands. |

oh how much I missed. I was out for a while. yes, that video is from yesterday and that song, The kinslayer, is one of my Nightwish's favorite song. Actually I love all their songs  Nightwish were hellriser with Tarja as singer but after her leaving nothing absolutely nothing is the same. I love her solo career now, she found that style which totally represents her, and I can imagine how happy she is writing her own songs and not singing songs written by someone else. I try to not be very long about it That's why I always said that if Axl had left guns, the band wouldn't be the same. When the singer leaves everything goes down. It's just not the same. You grow up with those songs sung by that voice which is the only one to fit them. Around every songs it's like a story, which will sound so false told by someone else. Just imagine how would Don't cry sound from someone else's mouth. Or paradise city, sweet child o' mine or Welcome to the jungle.. i can put them all here. It's just not the same. For those who really appreciate the music of the band they love, wouldn't be the same.

I just think of it like this; a lot of people complain about the changes in line-up in Guns N' Roses, that it's not the same band and you know the story. But if they can take for example Velvet Revolver which (if we look just at the surface as most people want)then we can say it's Guns N' Roses without Axl, isn't it? Slash, Duff, Matt and another guy as a lead singer (well I understood he is not with them anymore, I don't know much about VR). So, if VR is(talking about the members only) "Guns N' Roses" without Axl why people don't consider them the gods of rock, the legends, one of the biggest rock bands in the history? What would be Guns without Axl? I respect the former guys, but I wonder what would people say if the others remained and Axl left Guns. I'm really curious. |
