Ok, listened to all of it. Songs I'll be hearing again: Beautiful Dangerous (despite the fucked up chorus) Promise By the Sword Gotten
And, maybe, MAYBE, We're all gonna die.

Beside CtD I also listened to Gotten and Promise. I like both songs better than Crucify the Dead. Both songs are mainstream. Lyrics are average imo but they are nice to listen to. After several listenings "Gotten" starts to become boring. What's the single from the album?

Slash ponders GnR reunion in 2013Posted on 07 June, 2010 by Martin Kielty Guitarist doesn't know how things might go if the classic-era members gather for their likely induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Guns n'Roses will be eligible for induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 – and although he says he'll be there, former guitarist Slash says he doesn't know the event might turn out.He says he'd have been a fan of the band even if he'd never been part of it, and he lists some unpredictable tracks among his favourites. Slash, who left GnR in 1996, tells Billboard.com: "I'm not sure what it was about the chemistry of the group or the songs that have resonated for so long. But there was something about the honesty of Axl Rose's lyrics and the energy of the music people related to. It was a phenomenon. "If Guns had stayed together it would have gone through some musical changes. Axl has his thing and I was sticking to whatever it is I do. But it would have stayed as big and relevant as it was when I first started." Unsurprisingly Slash lists the band's classics as amongst his top tracks from their catalogue: Sweet Child O'Mine, Paradise City, My Michelle and so on. But he says he's "fond" of Coma and Locomotive from Use Your Illusion I and II respectively, and says the video for Paradise City is the only one he likes because it was live. The band become eligible for Hall of Fame induction in 2013 and it's almost unthinkable they won't be voted in first time round. Whatever happens, Slash is planning to attend. But he says: "I have no idea how that's supposed to go. If Axl, Duff, Izzy and myself start communicating, it could go one way. If we don't, God knows. "Guns n'Roses was all the really great bands I was turned on to as a kid. If I hadn't been in Guns it would have been my favourite band." @rockradioeditor on Twitter www.downloadfestivalradio.com/News/&action=fullnews&id=75

SLASH Joins ALTER BRIDGE On Stage In Stockholm (Video) - Nov. 2, 2010 Legendary guitarist Slash (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES) joined ALTER BRIDGE on stage earlier tonight (Tuesday, November 2) at Arenan in Stockholm, Sweden to perform the song "Rise Today". Fan-filmed video footage of his appearance can be viewed below. Slash wrote on his Twitter profile shortly after the concert, "That was cool and totally unexpected. ALTER BRIDGE sounds fantastic live. First time I've seen them in person. I think we're going to do it again very soon." ALTER BRIDGE singer Myles Kennedy has served as Slash's touring vocalist for the past several months, leading to speculation that the guitarist may try to recruit Kennedy to front VELVET REVOLVER — which is something that Slash has denied. "[Myles] is still committed to ALTER BRIDGE," Slash told BostonHerald.com. "I don't want to be the guy responsible for breaking up a band. But we'll find someone. Maybe not somebody known, but some kind of local hero." Kennedy had actually been approached to sing for VELVET REVOLVER back in the early days of the group, and again after they parted ways with Scott Weiland, but turned down the offer both times.
