AdlerWe had a full press day yesterday and I'd like to shed some light on my comments about the current Guns N Roses lineup. Sometimes my emotions get the best of me when talking about my former band. It’s hard to see your ex in bed with somebody else. We created one of the biggest selling debut albums of all time and it’s no secret that I want to finish what we started 25 years ago and play together at the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame. The guys that Axl has put together are all great players. They’re not hacks in the sense that they can’t play, they’re all incredible musicians. I just meant that they are not the original lineup. Bumblefoot @bumblefoot If y'all may recall my past tweets about JFK Neuroscience Center in NJ.... ...I just got off the phone with a woman who called to confirm surgery scheduled at JFK Neuroscience Center for *MY WIFE*. (Wha...?!?!?) I explained to the caller that my wife was never a patient at JFK, *I* went there a month ago, I didn't ever schedule or confirm any procedures, and how I did inquire about the next phase of treatment but didn't get a response....... (A week after my first visit to JFK in mid-March, my wife called them saying I was in tremendous pain, the medicine prescribed wasn't effective, and I needed to move as quickly as possible onto the next phase - they said they'd call right back and we never heard from them until after I had already been taken care of twice at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC) .......and had moved on, how the only thing scheduled was a follow-up doctor appointment which I had canceled two weeks ago upon not hearing back from them. I asked that they please remove both me *and my wife* from their patient lists. (Seems they had combined my info and my spouse's info into one imaginary patient.) The caller assured me that she would get their mess sorted and neither my wife nor I would receive any more calls from them. They were everything I feared a hospital could be. Advice - if they're rude, if they screw up medical records, if they seem completely disconnected from the patient, if they don't call back, if they make you feel unwanted like you're a burden to them, if they don't seem to care, they *don't* care. DO NOT SETTLE - move on and try somewhere else, and keep moving on until you find a place that has their act together and has compassion.

En serio no pensé o esperé la respuesta abrumadoramente positiva y el apoyo público de mi decisión con respecto a la Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Con una generosa manifestación de solidaridad de los fans, medios de comunicación, escritores y otros artistas, me siento realmente humilde, asombrado y aliviado increíblemente! Para ser honesto, pensé que se iba a ir hacia otro lado y esperaba capear el temporal. Como ya he dicho, yo sinceramente no quería decepcionar a nadie. Está pasado de moda estar el margen de la ley, aunque "es sólo rock and roll".
Me tomó un montón de atención y alma buscar ser sincero e informativo al mismo tiempo haciendo un verdadero esfuerzo para ser un poco diplomático. Hemos hecho, lo que siento, son esfuerzos reales para conocer sobre el Hall y la Junta, hablé como ya he dicho con el presidente y varios miembros, y aunque yo he incluido a Elton John y Bernie Taupin en el 94 diciendo algo en el sentido de "yo estoy aprendiendo de que se trata el Hall ... "
Todavía no se exactamente ni entiendo que es el Hall o cómo o por qué se hace el dinero, dónde va el dinero, quién elige a los votantes y por qué cualquiera de este decide quién, de entre todos los artistas en el mundo que han contribuido a este género, oficialmente "rock" lo suficiente como para estar en el Hall?
